THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

In the Sovereign Forge, combat is intuitive, tactical, and strictly bound by your Class. The Sovereign Forge is a tactical chess-RPG where preparation is your greatest weapon. We have eliminated the "opening grind" by automating the book moves of your chosen repertoire, thrusting you directly into the critical mid-game encounters where your tactical intuition is tested.

Just as a Grandmaster studies their opponent, you must identify the Mob Class you face and deploy the specific Opening Spell from your toolbelt designed to dismantle their style. Whether you're solving localized Trash Mob puzzles to sharpen your pattern recognition or engaging in World Boss raids against elite Grandmaster bots, every victory refines your mastery. Progress from a prepared apprentice to a Tier-1 Champion, building a legendary repertoire that turns the 64 squares into your own sovereign domain.

Phase I: Lvl 1-9

THE AUTOMATED START

PvE Mobs: Simple tactics. The Forge 'Pre-Plays' your opening book moves. You take command only when the mid-game battle begins.

THE TICKING CLOCK

Mini-Bosses: 3-minute Blitz matches unlocked. Puzzles evolve into 2-3 move checkmates and complex gambit defenses.

The Gauntlet: Enter queues to face 3+ consecutive Bots of increasing difficulty. Clear the floor to loot massive XP.

Live Combat: Face real players. The Catch: You are locked into your Class Openings. Illegal 'out-of-character' moves are disabled.

THE CHESSCRAFT CODEX

I. CLASS-LOCKED REPERTOIRE

Your chosen Race/Class (e.g., The Vanguard) is your identity. The system restricts your moves in PvP to your authorized opening spells, preventing engine-use and forcing thematic mastery.

II. DYNAMIC HAND-OFF

For new players, the early game is automated. The AI handles the theory until you reach a position where you've historically struggled, forcing you to learn through mid-game combat.

III. THE LOOT ECONOMY

Defeating Trash Mobs (Puzzles) and Bosses (Bots) awards Chess Points. Use them in the Spellbook to unlock deeper branches of your opening or cross-train in new factions.
